Description
Offered today is a lovely antique circa 1900 Victorian / Art Nouveau diamond ring.  I love this style of ring, with the three diamonds set vertically, rather than the more common horizontal settings.  The ring is solid 14k yellow gold, with platinum heads.
I called this a pinky ring because it is a very petite finger size of 2.5!  But don't let that deter you, because it can certainly be sized by a competent jeweler if need be.
This ring features three chunky old mine cut diamonds with high tables and open culets.  The diamonds on the ends measure 3.7 x 1.9 mm deep (.17 ct) and 3.7 x 2.5 mm deep (.22 ct) and the one in the center measures 4 x 2.2mm deep (.22 ct) for a total of about .61 ctw.  The diamonds are graded as J color, and SI1 clarity, by our experienced estate jeweler.  They are set in platinum heads (tested) and the other white-looking metal may also be platinum, but it was too difficult to test those areas.
The face measures 5/8" top to bottom.  It tests strongly positive for solid 14k, with the platinum on the heads.  The ring weighs 2.6 grams and is a size 2.5. It is in very good antique condition.
