    Description

This manual is provided in a 3 vinyl-type ring binder. The cover shows the Amtrak New Diesel Locomotive - but all the pages are detailed general rules. This is the binder that these materials were received in. You might think the contents would be about a locomotive but they are not. All pages are in very good condition; no rips or tears.
There are some pages that do have some minor underlining. With a green pen. Bulletin 218 (some on each of the pages of this bulletin), Bulletin 324.1 some underlining on each of the pages, Bulletin 325 of the 6 pages in this bulletin, 4 had some underlining. This was used by my sister. The number of pages showing underlining are minimal - I included photos of a few of the pages. There are a couple of pages that had some writing. Writing was in pencil - A 11 and A12, A13 - these were changes mentioned in the service manual A pen and ink changes.
    There are approximately 290 pages in this 11 3/4 x 10 x 1 1/2’ binder. The pages are 8 1/2 x 11.
2 page table of contents and the very first page is a page with the title “service manual A pen and ink changes” Please look at the photos of the table of contents pages for a good overview of the contents of this manual.
All the “bulletin” pages have the “national Railroad Passenger Corporation “ heading then show the Amtrak logo and the specification - Service Policy & Procedures and then the corresponding bulletin number.
There is a date on the bottom of each bulletin - and these bulletin are from 1977 and 1978 and 1979. There are about 200 pages of bulletins.
There are drawings, charts, reprinted receipts, etc. as well as schedules for some of the different trains throughout the US.
