Presented for your consideration is this pair of price guide and identification books about antique/vintage china. Both books are NEW, UNUSED. These books are must haves for any china collector!
One book is titled, English China Patterns and Pieces, and was written by Mary Frank Gaston. It was published in 2008 by Collector Books. The 191 page book is printed in full color and lists several different pieces of English china. Some of the items pictured are apothecary jars, wine jugs, pitcher & bowl sets, toothbrush holders, teapots, plates, sugar bowls, tea cups, and platters. Each is pictured individually with information about the item, pattern name and a value price printed either to the side or underneath the photo. All pages are intact and free of damage. Binding is tight.
The other book is titled, Collector's Encyclopedia of Knowles, Taylor & Knowles China, and was also written by Mary Frank Gaston. It was published in 1996 by Collector Books. The 174 page book is printed in full color and lists several different pieces of china made by Knowles, Taylor & Knowles. Some of the pictured items are vases, pitchers, jugs, plates, tea pots and bowls. Each item is pictured individually with information and a value price printed either next to or underneath the photo. There is also a guide to hallmarks and a short history of the company in the book. All pages are intact and free of damage. Binding is tight.
Each book measures 11 1/4" long, 8 3/4" wide and 5/8" thick.
