RARE 1834 Philippines Counterstamp on a Peru 1823 Peru Provisional 8 reales. While the coin received a VF 35 grade, the coin retains luster and detail more consistent with an XF grade. In any case, this Peru type with a Philippines counterstamp is almost never seen in auctions, and the 1823 date is even rarer than the 1822 date. There seems to be no other example of this coin in the NGC census.
